Honestly all of the Tales Of "little kid" characters drive me up the wall. Genis, Anise, Karol... I usually just shaft 'em in terms of equipment/etc and leave well enough alone.

Then again I don't really play Tales Of for mind-bendingly good characters/plot so idk. I actually love Anise's monster dude though, which makes me wish I liked her character.

I think they actually put the kid characters in for actual little kids to feel included when they play the games? Like one of the only titles to do that in the moe-wave. But maybe it's a misread.
