I don't know what kind of games you like, but I absolutely LOVED Lego Batman for the PS2. ATV Off Road Fury 2 and Need for Speed were also two of my favorite PS2 games. I was a pretty easygoing player, so I liked games I could just turn on, play for a little bit and then come back to later.

I have only heard good things about the LEGO games, so I think I'll check the Batman one out, thanks.

I'm a pretty casual player too, and I like pretty much all kinds of games (except most sports and racing games, but that's because I'm terrible at them).

I've played the Lego Star Wars, Lego Harry Potter, and Lego Batman and my favorite is by far Lego Batman. It definitely had some moments of frustration where I would look up how to get past a level, but overall I had a lot of fun with it.

I liked the soundtrack to ATV Off Road Fury 2. Also any of the Mortal Kombat games are good for blowing off steam and you can find them pretty cheap.
