I actually didn't really get all of the whining about HOT DWARVES until I saw this image and wow... uh, way to make the "hot" ones stand out, Peter Jackson (I agree with someone's comment I saw elsewhere that they look more like humans than dwarves)

I think they look much more like dwarves in the film. IDK if you've seen it or not, but there's a pretty big difference from their appearances in the posters and promo shots and the actual movie. (Not saying they aren't still hot...but they look like dwarves. Just hot dwarves.)

YMMV, though.
