I always imagine that bald heads would feel kind of oily. Maybe because I tend to get an oily scalp (under my hair, though it makes my hair greasy if I don't wash it enough or wash it too much). I also read somewhere that those sphynx cats can be oily because they have no hair to trap the oil and that they can even leave oil marks on furniture if you don't clean them off regularly. So maybe the same thing happens with bald people?

Anyway, for that reason, I'm kind of grossed out at the idea of touching a bald head.

Bald people can keep their scalp way cleaner than non-bald people though.

FWIW, my husband is quite bald and I never noticed his naked scalp being particularly oily (though what's left of his hair does get pretty oily).
