I've talked to them about the fic and done anything and everything I can to appease them,

This was a big mistake (but you probably already knew that?).

Just block them, if you can do it on the website it's happening on. If you can't, contact the support for that website and tell them that you are being harassed.


You don't "deal" with trolls. You kick them out and/or ignore them.

Yeah, that's what I did--sent an abuse report (I can't block them on the site I was on, but if I could, I would in a heartbeat). And I'm ignoring them until I get a reply from the abuse team there.

sorry you can't block them :( that should be an option in more websites
