Yeah, IKR? Not only that, but if the sex of the participants was swapped and the OP was a guy, obviously we'd be calling for both of his heads (as it were) on a pike. But if the OP was still a girl, then anons would be harping on about how she's stupid/mentally ill/been brainwashed by teh evil patriarchal media/ttly has repressed sexual abuse memories, followed by backhanded remarks about how they're "concerned" for the OP.

I hope not. F!S on DW has actually been doing a rather good job of not jumping to conclusions like that.

I'm glad you guys brought this up, because it's still a big, hypocritical thing in fandom as a whole. But fandom is slowly expanding people's minds about what might be okay, when they think about it without the knee-jerk condemnation.
