Um, I CARE. Bofur is the sweetest thing ever to exist, except perhaps for Balin (Balin talking to Thorin like a son, telling Bilbo stories about him like a proud dad, omg). Ori is adorable - a nerd amongst warriors! Dwalin is a heavy metal badass. Bombur is GREAT. Gloin is hilariously brash and LET-ME-AT-EM, just like his son, and there is almost no way there won't be an adorable little moment in one of the next two movies where Bilbo finds out he's a family man. Bifur is fuckin' fascinating and I can't wait until the similarly-inevitable moment when we find out what's up with the axe in his head. GANDALF IS FUCKING GREY AGAIN AND ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD

also, the three Durin dwarves aren't just hotties, Thorin's all The One Who Would Be King and Fili and Kili are ballsy and fun. The group dynamic at play here is just awesome, imo. I care!
