HERE'S A SECRET: It's not really hardcore or subversive to dislike or undermine FFVII anymore. Thinking FFVII "sucks" and is vastly inferior to every other RPG ever made is kind of the dominant opinion among gamers these days.

I'll drink to that. I haven't even played FFVII and I roll my eyes every time someone complains about being the "only person in the world who hates FFVII".
