Completely agree, anon. I'm a hardcore femslasher, but I've found that my favourite pairings are those with a mind-blowing amount of subtext that still hasn't been officially "acknowledged" by TPTB, whereas all the canon lesbian romances everyone on Tumblr fangirls their pants off just leave me cold (Bomb Girls, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13, Tierra de Lobos and all the other Spanish soaps with lesbians, etc.) I don't know why that is but I find it less stressful to invest in it, since I'm not really expecting them to become canon at any point.

(The only exception is Rizzoli & Isles, which I got bored with at the beginning of last season, though I suspect that was mostly because of the excessive gay-panicking from TPTB and the actresses themselves. That shit is really unattractive.)

Warehouse 13 is more of a "folding laundry" show for me, so I might've missed something, but I thought the Myka/Wells relationship was still in the realm of crazy subtext? Though I recall one of the actresses saying she thinks it is romantic love...

You're correct. There hasn't been a Myka/HG romantic relationship shown on the show. (yet?)

Yeah, no, I realize that was probably a big leap on my part, but IDK, in my head W13 became a part of the "canon lesbian romances" group because of it being basically acknowledged by TPTB and the actresses that they were playing Myka and HG as being "in love." Or maybe that's just my brain's poor excuse for me not being able to get into it no matter how hard I try (and despite loving everything else about the show).
