Redemption Arc

I assume that Jackson is going to have a redemption arc in season 3 and the writers always planned to do that, because otherwise yes, he is a creepy loser and I don't know why ANYONE is even friends with him, especially Danny, who seems rather bright otherwise.

Jackson's actor quit, so I guess they are going to just write him out of the show now. Go to military school, backpack in Europe, get run over by a car... Whatever it's going to be, it will probably just be mentioned in one sentence and then forgotten completely.

Huh. Well, that was a lot for nothing. Writers must be pissed.

I could think of a couple hilarious ways for them to write him out, all involving attempted rape charges (which would be valid because he couldn't prove he was under someone else's creepy control) and restraining orders.

Danny's going to be so sad.

Cops catch him running outside sans pants after the finale, and he starts making excuses about mind control and supernatural creatures. His parents are convinced that he must be on drugs and having a mental breakdown due to his issues with the adoption, and they have Jackson shipped off quietly to some detox clinic in another state for the rest of his high school years.

Danny is going to be sad for a day or two, then he realizes that it's for the best, because he gets Jackson's place in the team.

... except Jackson's not going to be in season 3 since Colton left the show. Unless he decides to come back at some point, that is.
