Tbh, I can't think of a canon gay or lesbian relationship on television between main characters that a) I liked and felt for and b) didn't end horribly. Plus, I like subtexty ho yay/les yay. It's more fun when it's sneaky like that. (And I also really wish more het romances would be subtexty and non-explicit and stay that way, btw.)

That being said, I do wish there were actually some good explicit canon gay/lesbian romances to appease my frustration about their absence. That's a very separate desire from my enjoyment of subtexty relationships.
