I'm like that in the Supernatural fandom. I read the occasional Sam/Dean because there's so *much* of it out there that there are inevitably some amazingly written stories, but the dynamic I would prefer to see (and almost never do) is Dean/John. (And come on, Dean raised Sam as much as John raised Dean.)

Outside of SPN I can't name one parent/child relationship that does it for me, but I can understand the frustration.
