I think people are more apt to post reaction gifs on tumblr rather than genuine comments and conversation is because tumblr is a really terrible way to carry on conversation. It's unfortunate that there's no real commenting system on tumblr, but perhaps the reason for that is to promote the simplicity of just... sharing images and posts and not talking about it. Which is what tumblr is for I guess.

Every once in a while, I forget and reply to someone with more than three sentences and become annoyed when they don't reply, even though what did I expect? I walked into Yakko, Wakko, and Dot's bedroom after they've split a case of RockStar energy drink and said "sit down so I can explain how to turn a decimal into a percent". It's my own damn fault.
