In the same way as it used to be when your highschool teachers would try to imitate your slang but get things drastically wrong. You language fogies are sure revealing your internet age. :)

I'm not even young, and I don't get why people are up in arms over a silly internet writing. We're having fun, what's the big deal? Especially on tumblr of all things. This isn't the American Journal of Public Health. It's just a website filled with people, most of which are younger than 30, having fun and being silly with their 'internet slang'.

That's what happens when a group of people get together and talk.

seriously! i had somebody up-thread pointing out (thx for that btw) my "problem" with capitalization and i just cannot fathom why it bothers them so much. terrible grammar, weird punctuation use and poor spelling have always bothered me far more than capitalization because that can actually impede on being able to understand what the writer is saying.
