That's any Wing secret for me. I don't care that UC Gundam fans shit all over it, for me it has the most replay value. There's still stuff that I pick up on with every rewatch that I missed the last 20+ times I've seen it.

I never was able to finish the whole series because when I watched it my sister and mom thought it was really boring so they kinda took over the t.v. when it came time for it to come on u_u I wish I knew where to watch it now.

That laugh was pretty creepy, I have to agree. I kind of love any time that Heero was completely batshit, though.

Huh, weird. After years of reading fanfic characterizing Heero as kind of cold and deadpan, I forgot that our introduction to him was as this impulsive psychopath. Duo got turned into his whacky sidekick, when it was Heero who was all over the place behaviorally. Though I think the suicide attempt knocked a little of that out of him, but my memory isn't the best.

...damn it, now I wanna rewatch it, too.

He was cold and deadpan, but only after he went Heroic BSOD in episode 7.

TBH, my take on it is that the crazy laughter was a kind of detachment exercise, a way to remove himself from the situation mentally so he can cope with what he's doing. Because we learn later on that he does not like killing people, and having to do so has screwed him up even more than the other pilots; he just doesn't admit it as readily.

Oh, great, thanks, that's what I thought I recalled. And yeah, that's a good interpretation. Puts his relief at no longer having to kill at the climax of Endless Waltz in interesting perspective, now. (Another thing I forgot was how messed up all those poor kids were, Heero especially.)

I still find Heero's creepier because it was the first episode. The more I got to see Quatre in action, the more I expected him to snap at some point. Heero laughing like Michael Crawford's Phantom in the very first episode was just...GAH!

It is a pretty good laugh. I think retrospectively I like Quatre's better because I like Quatre better than Heero.

Oh god, Quatre's was so much creepier. D:

Brad Swaile is an epic laugher. Apparently he gets asked to do the Light laugh often at cons and always puts a mask on because he looks too silly while he does it.

Yeah, that's the one that stuck in my head. That laugh is all kinds of "lol this can't end well".

Yeah, it really doesn't.

Oh gosh, the crazy Quatre laugh...a long, long time ago, when the show was first airing here in the States and I had a stupidly huge crush on him, the sound clip of that laughter was my computer's shutdown sound until I had to wipe the hard drive several months later. It was so much fun pissing off my particularly annoying college roommate with that.

His laugh still makes me laugh like crazy. XD

I always called it his chipmunk laugh. Don't ask, it makes no sense.
