That snipe was uncalled for OP, and I don't even *like* tumblr.

That said, it sounds like something about tumblr doesn't make sense to you, so you might be better off fiddling with a dummy account to figure things out, [Also, tumblr? Not actually a good medium for conversation, so I wouldn't hold my breath to really start talking to people on it.]

Yeah, I was nodding in agreement until that point. I miss actual conversations and connections too, but I don't think people are only there because they don't have lives. And anyway, "get a life" could be applied to any fandom activity. It often has been.

For goodness' sake, there was no 'snipe'. Tumblr users are doing themselves no favours by failing to read an entire sentence, completely missing the obvious meaning and then getting on their high horses about it. Over-defensive, much?

(Anonymous) 2013-01-08 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Pot calling the kettle black much? 'Cause you seemed to completely miss the 'I don't like tumblr' bit. Which you know, strongly implies they don't use tumblr.

nayrt

I use tumblr and I still don't like tumblr.

your assumptions are bullshit.
