Davidson, sure, but I'd much rather see older companions in any special thing they're gonna do rather than ones we saw only five years ago.

This. While so many early companions are gone forever now, there are still some awesome ones still around that could take part! Ace, Romana, Leela for example.

Actually, I'm wondering if Leela might be dead. We last saw her on Gallifrey, so...

Yeah, Ace, Tegan, Jo, Turlough, Jamie,... I'd really rather see any of them than any of the ones that have been on the new show. Not because they're "better", but because we actually haven't seen them in a while (well, Jo was on The Sarah Jane Adventures, but...).
