I wouldn't say that I have nightmares every night. To me, a nightmare is shocking or horrifying. My dreams are more tense or anxious - but they are consistently like that, I can only really remember having one unambiguously positive dream. I've never had a dream where I've been murdered, but like you, I've been chased - in fact, the vast majority of my dreams that I can remember, I'm being chased relentlessly, moving from one hiding spot to another, and none of them are ever good enough.

It kind of sucks, doesn't it?
