Re: Cosplaying characters of different races

If you're white and cosplaying a POC, there are some asshats who'll get bent out of shape about it, generally because they think everything white people do is racist. But on a logical level, there's nothing wrong with it - technically most (non-Japanese) cosplays involve people cosplaying somebody of a different race, since most English-speaking cosplayers aren't Japanese or whatever fictional race the character is. If you want to do it, go for it!
