You won't believe how happy it makes me that there is someone out there who hated Middlesex as much as I did.
I did enjoy The Virgin Suicides when I first read it at age 14, probably because the narration resonated A LOT with how my pathetic self felt about girls. I recently reread it and it was just gross.
