Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
Quick question: Is my last name Excuses? Because if SimsMe ends up as a lawyer that would amuse me!
(It was a grammatical error though: was/is)

Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
(you sure?)
Either this is Chard going anon, or a random Anon, slightly confused.Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
(Anonymous) 2013-01-09 03:24 am (UTC)(link)(yes)
me is not chard, viking knave! (not logging in because of reasons right now but I hope you had a good break?)
Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
(Potassium)
Ah ok (THEN WHO ARE YOU? Break was fine, met family and friends, ate too much food, same as every Christmas break really. Yours?)

(c'mon, who always refers to you as a viking when shit hits? ;) one more hint, I'm sick right now)
Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
(Ehh, damnnation! You seriously think I can remember everything? I suck at names (and I haven't slept), let's do the elimination method: Tygg isn't sick right now, Fing is online, Noodles isn't sick (nor does he call me Viking), It can't be Chard... Oh wait! AgentC? That could be right? Because s/he is sick! I remember that! And tend to call me Viking.)
And this ladies and gentlemen is why I will never become a police officer

(I will take that as I am totally right!)

"HAVE BRA - WILL TRAVEL. DON'T LET YOUR BREASTS GET IN THE WAY OF GETTING THINGS DONE!"'
Re: EPISODE ONE: THE FRIST DAY PART 5
It kinda pains me to give you the real meaning now: Goodbye, just in Norwegian.

Worst part you are almost right: Ha det bra is the correct spelling, but it translates to have it good, the version I wrote: Hadebra (which should have been in one word) is the one we say, which translates more closely to goodbye.
We tend to write as we speak when not writing in official stuff and/or for school. Mostly because the written Norwegian I use is much closer to Danish than my dialect.
Easiest way to show it: "Æ" is how I say "I" but correct spelling is "jeg".

It isn't difficult, it means I can write Norwegian in 4 different ways though (two of them are official written though, Bokmål and NyNorsk) the other two are in my dialect and then we got the text speak just like you guys (but the last two tends to overlap)
We learn in school, well not how to spell, but how the different Norwegian Dialects sound and where they are spoken, which sounds are used where and so on.
