OMG ME TOO OP.

I'm sad that this series went downhill ever since it moved magazines. And wtf happened with her art style? It started off OK, then became great, then became different and sub-par.

It's such a disappointment. :( I held out for a while, gave up, came back, had hope, and now the latest chapter came out and I don't even know what to do with myself it's so out there and confusing.

I've found my interest has actually began to return for this series with the recent chapters and I found rereading a the last ten or so chapters in one go also really helped to make some things make sense, but the fact of the matter is that we're on the cusp of some big reveals so it's going to be confusing just because we don't have all the pieces for them to make sense.

I remember people saying very similar things around the time the Ark arc was being release but looking back on it now those same people talk about how that arc was the best part of the series. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's my favorite part too but it wasn't during the time of release.

I tried to get into that manga, but it was just so bleak and confusing, and the good guys never seemed to accomplish anything, save killing people who had bad luck or entirely normal human failings.

Well, OP, what should I say?
I waited literally years for Jasdevi to come back (bc they are my favourite characters) and they did. Besides, Lavi is a main character, so I'm sure he'll be back soon... Or at least so I hope. With all this all-the-noah-have-made-an-appearance-yayz I thought he'd appear more since bookman knows what the heck happened with the 14th, but Hoshino seems too enamoured of Allen and Yuu to focus on other characters. And that makes me sad.

YES. Finally someone said it. Thank you! I keep reading because I've caught up with every other series that has piqued my interest (or they're finished and long gone *waves at FMA*) and that I get the update notification in my inbox. I probably wouldn't notice if the latest one was the last. .__. makes me sad.

This, totally!! Glad to hear there's other Lavi fans out there who actually feel the same.

This was the first time I ever felt so seriously let down by a series that I really wanted to ragequit it. And I kind of did, years ago. But every once in a long while, I'd randomly think of Lavi, and go on Wiki to see if he made an appearance yet or not. I still find Lavi incredibly interesting and likeable, regardless of how much I am indifferent or even came to dislike the rest of the cast.

The rest of the story is confusing as hell now, doesn't help that I skim all the non-Lavi scenes due to disinterest, but I don't care to make sense out of the rest of it anyway...

As far as I know the fandom mainly migrated to tumblr and apparently goes batshit insane* whenever there's a new chapter.
Also, if youre a fan of Lavi (sp?) you might want to ... continue what you're doing ;)
