(Anonymous) 2013-01-10 12:52 am (UTC)(link)If you can make (or spare) the time, you really should read the entire Sprawl trilogy (Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive) as a set piece. The technology has (almost) caught up with the real world, but even for its age, the series is still "ten minutes in the future" OK OK I'll stop now LOL.

Especially since the book is nearly 30 years old and when it came out we'd just gotten around to floppy disks in the real world. Lol.
