Re: What was the last book you read?

Right now, I'm reading The Hobbit, though I'm barely into it (I'm not even at page 100 yet). Before that I read some stories from a Lovecraft compilation (I have a book that has ALL of his stuff, yay!). But if you want the last non-compilation book I read and finished, it was an obscure Sherlock Holmes pastiche called A Taste For Honey, which I was interested in partially because of the Holmes connection, but also because it was the inspiration for a movie that ended up on Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Deadly Bees. It was... okay. Very different from the movie (including a completely different villain), so if you've seen the movie, the book will still surprise you.
