I know there's at least one other anon here who likes Danny Phantom, so I'm going to say the fic that finally got me to watch the show. Ghosts in the Closet by MyAibou (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4500910/1/Ghosts-in-the-Closet) gets all of my tears. Every damn time. I'm not totally sold on the ending but the first half is just note-perfect and tear-jerking.

I don't know why I've never read this story, although I've seen it recommended before. It doesn't look as daunting as I thought it would be, so I'll check it out. Thanks!

I was going to recommend some DP fics too, but, uh... they haven't aged as well as I thought they had.
