(Anonymous) 2013-01-11 04:58 am (UTC)(link)this is probably dumb, but the episode of South Park called "Cash For Gold" had a part that made me cry a little. I guess the whole premisis of the episode is a little sad (it's about Stan trying to get that "buy this awesome jewelry for a one time low offer" channel shut down because they're scamming money from elderly people who often don't even remember making the purchase due to dementia) though, in South Park fashion, it's not exactly treated as such...until the part where Grandpa Marsh is talking about how the last time he was happy was when his dog was still alive and how he loved that dog with all of his heart...and now he can't even picture what she looked like. idk, it just got to me I guess
