Not the stalker thing, but the part where her coworkers are having a party and she's off by herself, people asking "why are you like that?", not realizing that people dislike me until I'm tricked into getting off the bus, so to speak.

I didn't mean to irritate anyone with my secret. Maybe I didn't phrase it the right way but the idea is that I've always been the one who is hated or pitied-but-not-liked. We're supposed to feel sympathy or amusement at them being losers or outcasts, but I just see myself and a lot of things that have actually happened to me. (Okay, I've never gotten rocks on Halloween or had pig's blood dumped on me.)

<3 I feel you, OP. Specifically on Kristen Wiig's character in "Bridesmaids". I wrote a secret a long while back about how that movie made me cry because I related so much to the situation her character was in. Dead end job, lost faith in my dreams, losing touch with my closest friend, and feeling like the world is take a huge dump on me. Only thing is, I won't get her happy ending. I still have my family that loves me a lot, and another of my friend and I have been trying our best to be there for each other, so I can't say I'm feeling as terrible as I used to, but it still makes me really sad knowing that my former best friend and I aren't close anymore.

Maybe not what you want to hear, but I'm excited for the Muriel's Wedding and My Big Fat Greek Wedding love. Btw, the heroines of those two movies grew into pretty awsome, confident people who had folks who genuinely loved them.
