But the sane fans are still there and still count AS fans. Saying all fans of X are crazy because the loudest ones are tinhats is like saying all women are sluts because a certain percentage of the population wears skimpy clothes and enjoys casual sex. And people are generally against that sort of labeling.

I'm a J2 fan and do not, for one second, ascribe to the batshittery going on in spn_gossip. So no, not sensitive, just don't like being lumped in with people who are creepy and awful.

Actually the fans you're talking about here are a noisy minority, and they mostly congregate in SPN_gossip, which is a fandom joke and a shithole of epic proportions.
