Is there a decent amount of femmeslash in this fandom that isn't Regina/Emma?

I mean, yea there are a fuckton of female characters so you would think so, but (way back) when I visited the kink meme it was overwhelmingly Regina/Emma and I haven't cared enough to go back since. I imagine Mulan/Aurora is pretty popular now? Is Red/Snow a thing, or no?

OP here.

Aurora/Mulan is a thing, and there's less magical penis with them because neither of them are magical. (I think) There's Red/Snow and a decent amount of Belle/Red.

Emma/Regina has much magical penis because one or both of them have magical powers. I'm not against it, it just feels really common to me. Almost to the point where it feels lazy and I'd like a bit more variety.

(I haven't been in Glee fandom)

Sorry about the magical!penis. It doesn't sound like my kind of thing but clearly if that much of it exists other people enjoy it. Maybe you should start prompting fic that excludes it? I imagine that won't stop the trend of magical!penis fic, but there's not much you can do about that...

There are some lovely Belle/Red fics out there.

I think I just want it to be labelled so I know what I'm getting when I go in. Some fics I read had tumblr-like epic tags but no mention of lady!cock.

That sounds agitating! And the kind of thing fandom would usually tag for...

But then again every fandom is different, so maybe Oncers don't consider that the sort of thing that needs it.

You could always anonymously suggest that people do so in their future fics? Might not help at all, but it can't hurt, I guess.

I will start mentioning that it merits a tag. Would make it easier for the people who like it to find it and me to avoid it. (It's not a squick it's just...a hamburger when I was looking for grilled cheese).

I think some authors just think penises are part of sex so no need for any special tags. (or so it feels).

Yea, I completely understand. Even if it isn't a squick it might just not do anything for you, which is a perfectly valid reason to avoid it.

It wouldn't surprise me. Or they just really, really like penis?

Huh, Belle/Red. I'm actually not a huge fan of Belle on the show and that's not a pairing I would have thought of on my own, but I kind of really want to read that. I'll have to check out the kink meme.
