Ah, but what if one IS a professional writer -- and not at all an unknown one, either? Yet one still writes fanfic and participates largely in fandom? And, truth be told, often cares more about her fanfic than her profic? And what if, when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?

Appearances can be deceiving. And really, I hate to burst your bubble, but it is not a great feat in the slightest to get published. All you need is a contact or two and a halfway decent editor.
