hmm need to read that. Started it over break but stopped b/c my computer was having sound problems.

also I am having drama with my friend who recommended it to me and to whom I promised I'd read it. but it honestly looks very good so I think maybe I'll do a little of it tonight

Really? One scanlation group is not bad at all. Unless it's a very popular manga, it won't have more than one scanlation group - especially if the one scanlation group is already doing a good job. Forums and discussion groups are a better judge of how popular the anime is going to be. But also remember the main audience is Japanese so even if an anime is popular overseas it my not be popular in Japan. The reverse is also true.

I was going to ask what exactly this upcoming series is, but I did the googling myself and it seems to be a magical girl spinoff starring Ilya, called Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya.

I'm torn on this. Lately the manga has been really oversexualizing the girls imo and I'd hate to see that come out in the anime. On the other hand, the story is pretty great and deserves to be more popular.

Man, Prisma Illya. My friend and I are so hype for this. I don't know why, we thought F/SN was pretty dumb. xD It's gonna be great! Gil will be the most magical of the girls.
