Re: Food/Nutrition question
So raw veggies on their own won't be very filling, and neither will things like candy, because they're mostly carbs. A really filling meal would be like, steak and potatoes, which has protein, fat, and fiber all together.
I don't know if you'd need to eat enough carrots to match the caloric value of the fries in order to feel as full. The water and the fiber in the carrots might fill you up first.
Culture also plays a big role in what's filling or satisfying. Food you're familiar with, in a setting that you associate with food, will give you more of a mental feeling of being full than food you're not sure about or like, eating in the car when you're used to sitting down at a table.
