I had no idea there was other ways than sitting?! what countries are people who stand/sit/squat from? (i mean, can we compare? is this a cultural thing? I'm a sitter in australia and what i've noticed at work is everyone sits /sounds creeperish)

i do know that people paranoid about public toilets squat but that's general a cause for concern since people miss and you end up with crap on the seats so in their effort to not touch the seat they've successfully made it worse for everyone else

Squatting is supposed to help with lessening strain and since my family gets hemorrhoids easily, I squat.

If I shit and I get crap on the seats, I wipe it off. If I pee and I get urine on the seat, I wipe it off. Are people so offended by their bodily waste in Australia that they can't bear to clean up after themselves?

i'm not sure, i've only encountered shit on the toilet seats twice (and backed away in horror, it was truly a horrendous amount. i figured the previous occupant may have been ill?) but I wouldn't think anyone would have problems with wiping away pee.

i sit-sit so I don't particularly need to worry about aim. That's why seats are there?
