I know this secret is trollerific, but you know what? I think other sites suck. I'm looking at AO3 and I really hate not only how the site looks, but their tagging just irks me.

I post to LJ and DW but I so rarely bother to read 'fic on those sites because people don't know how to make their journal layout legible. Seriously you dumbasses--stop making journal layouts for your fanfic comms where the entries are written in some cracked out cursive font. :|

Just wondering - have you tried adding ?style=mine to LJ/DW URLs to force the layouts to mirror your own? I have to do this with my fandom's kink meme because the white background on its layout mauls my eyes.
