They really did! I had one co-worker in particular who talked about sexual things, but in my experience socially awkward guys can be painfully transparent about their underlying insecurities/prejudices.

I mean insecurity is one thing though. But to actually, consciously expect a subservient and submissive wife? *barf*

And a lot of people are socially awkward for various reasons, so I don't think there's a definite connection there. But maybe for some that is true.
