THIS THIS THIS. The attitude towards less experienced writers in fandom is repulsive. Has anybody considered that the high level of depression/artistic anxiety in fandom may be party caused by how RUDE fandom can be? I'm not talking leaving honest critique. I'm talking flaming, laughing behind people's backs, and otherwise flat out making fun of new writers.
