So my stupid annoying college has put a hold on my transcript / enrollment details, because it says that I didn't conduct a student loan exit interview (I totally did). And so now this background check I'm doing for a job won't go through, and I have to call them up and sort it out.

And despite the fact that I know it shouldn't be too much of a bother to sort it out - I'll call them, I'll insist that I did the interview, I'll read some information and maybe fill out a couple forms online - I'm still way too anxious about it. I'm already pretty nervous about the job (just because it's my first real job and I'm anxious about the whole thing) and now I'm just freaking out about how somehow this is going to take too long to get sorted out and the job is going to say that I fucked everything up and it's my fault and clearly I'm an irresponsible drunken lout and they don't want me to work for them anymore and then everything is going to be terrible.

So uh yeah! Stupid college trying to screw me over. Sorry, just wanted to vent about this whole thing somewhere. /rant

I'm sorry to hear they're giving you trouble. Even if it's probably pretty fixable, I definitely get being stressed out by it. I always feel that way when stuff like that happens, too.

I hope it gets sorted out soon.

*hugs* I think it will work out fine. I think people who have to deal with college administrations and all the red tape that comes with them kinda expect crap like this and know it's not your fault.
