This is why I mainly lurk in this fandom, just watching posts that comment on new episodes and buying a few toys/blind bags. ~In it for adorable ponies, not the people~ I've heard far too much crap about some of the fans (a sizable portion of the "Bronies" but not limited to those that call themselves that).

I don't think the events in Doriath entitle Thranduil to hate dwarves. It makes it understandable -- but that was one group of dwarves thousands of years ago. Moving past that and dealing with living dwarves on their own merits might not be easy, but it's part of the responsibility of being a leader.

Do it. I know the feeling. I used to write ridiculous over-the-top hurt/comfort when I felt like it, and I was very upset that there was nothing of that kind for my main fandoms (in fact, there's almost no fic at all, but let's skip this part).

I post those things. Though, admittedly, I remove them if I go back and see that the story is bad to the point of being unedible.

It's catchy but it's right up there with 'Love the Way you Lie' for songs that make me cringe when I really consider the lyrics.

Basically the message is 'I know he's abusive, and I know I should get away but I LOVE HIM.'

Also does the 'Mama he's the best I've ever had' line weird anyone else out? Because the idea of discussing how good your lover is in bed with your mother (which is what is sounds like) brings out the repressed British person in me.
