The silliest part about things like this is I always assume (maybe hypocritically) that the people who make these kind of judgments have an overflated sense of importance, and like imagining that bloggers wait breathlessly for good, tasteful people to follow them, quickly checking to see if new followers have a refined selection of followed tumblrs so they can be assured that yes! This one is good and has graced my blog with their "+"!

I never really notice such things because the only time I'm on someone's dash is when I decide whether I'll follow them or not.

What I hate are people who put a signature under everything they reblog. Yes, infamously, "the funniest posts", but there are tons of others who do that.

(Okay, I'll rant on for a bit, so never mind me.)

Also, there's a special place in hell for people who write "queue" on the post. I mean, jesus, who cares if it's your queue? Seriously, who gives a fuck. As if idiots writing "OMFG THE NOTES" isn't enough, you also have to add that it's on your queue?

But that's another thing. There are people who apparently give a shit? For a while, I followed a person who kept posting stuff like "Oh no, lost followers because I haven't been posting much these days." "I put some stuff on the queue because I'll be gone for a couple of days, please don't unfollow me!"

Seriously? People unfollow someone because they post 10 things instead of 30 a day? Or maybe people just unfollowed them because they kept whining about unfollowers.

But no, honestly, do you guys actually keep track of who posts how much? I mean, I'd be more unlikely to unfollow someone who frequently reaches the post-limit, because they're just flooding my dash, instead of someone who maybe doesn't post for a day.

So...if the theme is too pretty or expensive (I assume the paid themes are prettier and more stylish?) you don't like it, but if it's too ugly you don't like it either? Should people just keep the default tumblr themes or what?

I can somewhat understand the ads, but someone whose bought a theme for $50 is a rich asshole?! What the fuck? Jesus, there are better things to get that miffed about. And so what if they bought it - if it's a good blog then follow the fucking thing. Half the time you won't see it because it'll be ALL OVER YOUR OWN DASHBOARD.

OK. I can understand the ads, that's a valid issue.
I can understand the 'ugly' - it's a bit petty to judge someone on, but a fairly valid reason to not follow their Tumblr (I really don't follow Tumblr at all, because there's too many ugly layouts).
But, ah...the paid layout thing? That's weird, and beyond petty. And assuming they're 'rich assholes'? 'Rich' and 'asshole' are orthogonal traits, as are 'rich' and 'able to buy a Tumblr layout'. Assuming A->B->C is just...well, the act of an asshole.
