Thinking about it, I think only one person I follows tags their queue things. In the # area so I don't mind, lets me know that although they're posting they're not there.

I only made a post for the first person who unfollowed me, as a silly memorial (idk who it was, my follower count went down. I don't like that tumblr shows that to you now)

No-one I've followed seems to care if their follower count increases/decreases which is a load off my shoulder because I always worry they'll get angry if I unfollow ('cause I have seen drama posts at random about being unfollowed)...wait, scratch that. There was one person who was convinced it was because of their rants about the content in a fandom pairing tag. They would announce whenever they lost a follower after posting a rant, but that was like every day so I was scared to unfollow them. I eventually sent a little ask going "i think you're cool but I'm not interested in X fandom yet so I'm unfollowing, don't mean any offence!" which they were okay with but I resented having to do that :(

I don't really keep track of how much people post. I've got some who probably hit the post limits and I've got others who post every few days. I don't really mind since I unfollow/follow based on current interests (and tend to keep those I become casual friends with)
I don't follow that many people though, so it's enough that 30mins will have me uptodate on my dash.

Occasionally, I also want to make a dramatic post about an unfollower, just for fun, but there are many people who actually mean their dramatic posts, and they can get pretty mean-spirited too. Strangely, though, usually, the people who make a huge fuss about unfollowers... also immediately get three more followers? I feel like all those posts basically go, "Ugh, fine, fuck off with your nasty hipster blog, nobody liked you anyway. I've got ten new followers to make up for your sorry ass, so hi!"

da

you can make the dramatic post and then at the very bottom add a tiny "this is a joke btw, I'm not actually mad" type disclaimer
