This seems random...is there any particular reason? I don't know the actor well, so maybe I've missed something.

I've only seen him in Glee so I can't say much about his acting abilities, but I think having such a young doctor (and yes, Matt Smith is young too, but Colfer looks about 18 to me) would take some getting used to.

So I can't see it and doubt it would ever happen, but if it ever were to happen, I'd give him a chance.
