Personally, the idea of going back in time and changing things - anything short of the death of a loved one - skeeves me out because your past, even the sucky parts of it, is you. If you could edit that out of your experiences, you'd be killing a part of who you are now. In your case, maybe you're more patient and tolerant of others because of this, or it helped you learn not to take jerks on the internet as seriously.

Yeah, but parts of who you are now can really suck. There are plenty of parts of myself I'd love to go back and change, knowing that would cause my current self to cease existing.
