OMG THANK YOU.

I really dislike her solely because she's presented as the paragon of pure femininity. She's cute, childlike (easily manipulable), innocent (until shes in my bed!), feminine, and mentally strong (barriers and healing! Yay feminine-like powers!).

Meanwhile the girl with the brash personality is usually presented as annoying, full of herself, mean, unfeminine, physically and mentally weak.

I wanted to like her. Her voice was super cute and reminded me of Tsukimi from Kuragehime and her familiar was even cuter...buut I dropped that show for a while because of those tired sexist shenanigans. So sick of characters like her being shoved down my throat.

Which girl with the brash personality? That's just about every female character in that series who isn't Shiemi. And they're all designed to be "likable" to fans of different character types.
