I don't know the show or the character at all, but the fact that you think that no "real" women are like that makes you far more sexist than the show could possibly be.

Hint: there is no such thing as a singular definition of a "real woman." Every woman is different, and I guarantee you that if you pick any fictional female character, you could find a real woman out there somewhere in the world who resembles that character in personality.

Uh, no. I think you missed the point. It's not that real women aren't sweet and selfless, it's that real women are more than just sweet and selfless, which female many anime archetypes are not.

I haven't seen this anime so I don't know if this character is really like that. But I have seen enough anime to know where OP is coming from.

I have never seen a character in any media who was nothing but sweet and selfless and didn't have any other characteristics. Ever.

That's nice. Consider yourself lucky, then. I've seen quite a few, ESPECIALLY (but limited to) in Japanese anime and video games.
