I agree that it's a kind of trope that annoys me, but I also don't really see Shiemi as the sexualised blushing violet stereotype. Then again, characters like Shura are the ones who tend to bug me more, so.

also didn't her boobs have like *one* gag in the manga? (the pudding thing made me laugh in the anime ngl) 99.9% of the time she's wearing a Kimono or Yukata or whatever, which are built to hide the body's shape?

Shiemi isn't as sexualized as she could have been, but the big deal everyone made out of her boobs was unnecessary. She is definitely the innocent sweet clumsy type, which I'll admit has always been a personal peeve of mine.

There was no female character that didn't bug me in that show, TBH. I tried really hard to like Izumo and Shura, but Shura couldn't be on screen for 5 minutes without flashing her tits and Izumo was constantly made out to be an insufferable bitch. I usually like tsunderes, but man they did nothing good with her. Shiemi just hit my rage button of innocence/naivete portrayed as a good thing. Especially when she basically just lets herself be used by Izumo - and then her *purity* and *goodness* wins over Izumo as a friend!

That's just not how bullying works in real life. I hate it when naive characters never see the consequences of their naivete.
