So, this week I bought DmC.
I'm impressed, I have to say. I wasn't expecting miracles, but 12 missions into my first playthrough it's as flashy and fun as other DMC games I've played. I like the weapon system, and the difficulty seems well balanced.
It has flaws, of course- I'm not convinced by the decision to make Eva an angel, for example. But in comparison to DMC 4 it's generally pretty good. Kat is a more interesting character than Kyrie, and the game feels less rushed, and less repetitive.

If anyone is thinking about getting this game, I'd recommend it. :-)

I was very against the game when it was announced, but seeing trailers of the actual gameplay and some cutscenes made it sound actually pretty decent or maybe even good, and now this comment

oh man if I had the right console/computer for it I would give it a shot
