Spreading this around to make people angry is giving him what he wants. I wish people who aren't either a) quoting it to make some kind of a point or b) have an actual purpose to getting the internet mad at him, like if someone comes up with a solution to get revenge on him somehow (personally I'd love to see his house burned down and him beaten to a pulp, but I'd rather not take the jail time for it and I'm sure no one else would either) would stop posting the link everywhere.

I gotta say I disagree. People need to be more aware that this stuff happens. Lots of people (including people I know) turn a blind eye to sexism and rape culture because they would rather not admit it exists.

Doing it to raise awareness of sexism qualifies as making a point; posting the link to a comm that's already pretty progressive with no other explanation than to anger people who are already aware of sexism does not.

my hope is that his followers would see the hate and rethink their views. or other men will see the dislike of him and see it's not acceptable and hopefully open their eyes about other things.

ignoring it indicates a level of complacent acceptance. just cause this douchebag is okay with rejection and anger doesn't mean all the people with this view would be.
