I gotta say I disagree. People need to be more aware that this stuff happens. Lots of people (including people I know) turn a blind eye to sexism and rape culture because they would rather not admit it exists.

Doing it to raise awareness of sexism qualifies as making a point; posting the link to a comm that's already pretty progressive with no other explanation than to anger people who are already aware of sexism does not.
