Okay, I feel like dealing with this head-on. First of all, there's nothing automatically "silly" about crushing on a fictional character. Most of the people you're attracted to in day-to-day life aren't people you're going to start a relationship with either, so "but I hypothetically could" isn't that relevant.

Also, as someone who grew up in a sexist, xenophobic, homophobic small town, I believe strongly that if your heart isn't attracted to anyone in your immediate vicinity, that isn't (as everyone local will try to convince you) a sign that there's just something wrong with you. And there are a lot of other reasons why people latch onto fictional characters. Enough is enough with the idea that fandom, or certain aspects of it, are only suitable for kids.

One of my favorite game series.

I don't really have crushes on fictional characters? But sometimes I have characters that I just love so much that...I dunno. I wish they were real so we could be BFFs. I don't really think of that as silly, though it's not really something I ever say to people I know who don't care that much about fandom, since you know, I don't care to be judged about it. So I'd say that crushing on fictional characters isn't silly either, if it makes you happy/gives you something fun to think about when you're stuck at work or whatever.

As long as you don't start thinking you're actually married to them on an astral plane somewhere, do what you want and do it without shame.
