TBH if it's just another all-male cast, typical action story with an average story, I WON'T go see it if there's no eye-candy. It doesn't surprise me if guys don't discriminate like this because almost every damn movie that's not a "chick flick" is catered to them. If there's a woman in the story, you can bet she'll be attractive, too. And if there are no women, who cares, cause they can identify with all the cool dudes.

If the story is legitimately good, of course I'll be interested. But I'm finding it harder to get interested in all these "guy movies". :/

OP, you are singularly blessed to have the guy friends you do. RL guys, internet comments, articles with movie producers, etc. have all revealed that men are so used to having their needs catered to that they won't sit still for a movie/tv show about a woman if they don't find the actress fuckable.
